We’re happy to finally announce that there will be special screenings of Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor in the US.

Tickets go on sale at 9am Eastern (make sure you understand your timezone - click here if you need a reminder!)

First! Simulcast 3D screenings in 11 cities across the country on Saturday November 23rd. You can buy your tickets tomorrow. FRIDAY OCTOBER 25TH 2013 at 9am Eastern through Fandango.com and Cinemark.com

Second! Additional screenings in 300 cinemas across the country on Monday November 25th. You can buy your tickets tomorrow. FRIDAY OCTOBER 25TH 2013 at 9am Eastern through FathomEvents.com

Whether you’ll be heading to a special screening or watching in 2D at home, straighten your bow ties and grab your sonic screwdrivers as we all get ready to celebrate ‘The Day of the Doctor’!

We’ve put together an FAQ here and we’ll continue to add to it over the next few days.

  • Dallas-Ft. Worth - Cinemark West Plano + XD (Plano, TX)
  • San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose - Century San Francisco Centre 9 and XD (San Francisco, CA)
  • Washington, DC (Hagerstown) - Cinemark Rave Cinemas Fairfax Corner 14 + XD (Fairfax, VA)

In addition to the Saturday simulcast there will also be U.S. cinema screenings of ‘Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor’ in over 300 cinemas on Monday, November 25th. To buy tickets and find a screening near you, go to FathomEvents.com on October 25th at 9am ET.

So my dad and I worked on this beauty the past few weeks. A TARDIS cabinet for my dvds. It took about two weeks to build. The only thing missing, is the “Pull to open” sign. But I’ll get that one eventually, and take a photo. The “Police Public Call Box” sign has a light build behind it, so I can turn it on and off. And it’s just.. I’m so happy with the result. Ahh. 

69 ‘normal’ dvds can fit on one shelf. If you’ve got any questions, don’t be afraid to ask! c:
